Popular Indicators Library

The trading platform provides a wide range of indicators, based on their purpose. This library contains code examples with explanations of the most popular indicators.

Momentum

Momentum indicators help identify the speed at which a price of an asset is changing. Such indicators are often used to determine the overbought or oversold levels of an asset, which in their turn can indicate potential trend reversals. The most common momentum indicators are listed below, and you can find all of them on our trading platform.

Moving Averages

Moving Averages (MA) indicators are designed to indicate the direction of a trend by calculating the average asset price over a given period of time. Depending on the type of the Moving Average, such indicators can show the short-term or long-term trend direction. They are useful for both reducing market noise and identifying potential reversal points in the market.

Oscillators

Such indicators are shown as a separate mini-chart, located under the asset chart. The mini-chart forms according to the price movement of an asset, showing data which you indicated in the settings. Oscillators are able to spot overbought and oversold state of assets, as well as show potential trend reversal points. Among the most famous oscillators you can find CCI, CMO, and many others.

Trend

Trend indicators aim at identifying the direction of a price trend, spotting the potential trend reversals, entry points, and in some combinations – the strength of a trend.
